Xiaomi started the MIUI 14 early access program, which is claimed to be lighter

Xiaomi is informed that it has started the MIUI 14 early access program. This custom user interface made by Xiaomi can be tried by early users. Xiaomi has started to announce the teaser of its newest custom Android skin, MIUI 14. As expected, the Android 13-based operating system will first appear alongside the Xiaomi 13 series on December 1 at 7 pm Beijing time.

Ahead of the launch, the Chinese company started the MIUI 14 early access program in its home country. This will allow interested users to try out the latest software before it is published.

Reporting from Gizmochina (29/11), the MIUI 14 early access program started on November 28 and ended at 23:59 on December 28, 2022. During this time, Xiaomi community users can register and try new software.

However, users can only regiister one Xiaomi device, be it a tablet or cellphone. Also, after successful regiistration, the device cannot be changed. Early access builds will likely roll out to different devices gradually, and it may take some time to reach every registered user. It should be noted that this program is limited to users living in Mainland China. However, it could extend to other areas.

Talking about the software itself, MIUI 14 is claimed to be lighter. A Xiaomi executive says the company wants to make MIUI14 the slimmest and lightest flagship mobile operating system yet.
