Senior Product Marketing Manager and Xiaomi Global Spokesperson Daniel B, shared the new details of the Mi 11 Ultra on his Twitter account. According to him, this premium class phone will have the latest silicon-oxygen anode battery technology. This new type of battery offers several benefits, such as making the battery thinner and charging faster.
Reporting from Gizmochina (26/3), Daniel further added that the battery technology is also similar to that used in electric vehicles, “silicon material at the nanoscale to the negative electrode to increase the theoretical gram capacity of 10x vs graphite”. In other words, the silicon-oxygen anode switch should allow the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra to deliver a larger power capacity. Meanwhile, it is also able to increase the charging speed.
