Xiaomi 12 Lite is expected to come with a 6.55-inch Full HD AMOLED display offering a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Xiaomi is expected to announce the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi X12X, and Xiaomi 12 Pro phones on December 28. A new report from Xiaomiui.net has revealed that the Xiaomi 12 family includes two models named ‘Lite’ like Xiaomi 12 Lite and Xiaomi 12 Lite Zoom. This publication has shared the main details of each of these phones.
According to the publication, the Xiaomii 12 Lite is codenamed ‘Taoyao’ with its model number shortened to L9. Its global variant with model number 2203129G and Indian edition with 2203129I have recently appeared in the IMEI database.
Reporting from Gizmochina (December 6), the Xiaomi 12 Lite is expected to come with an AMOLED 6.55-inch Full HD display that offers a 120 Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device may feature a curved edge display like the Xiaomi Civi, which is sold exclusively in China.
The phone is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 778G or Snapdragon 780G. The rear camera has a 3-camera configuration, which may feature a Samsung GW3 64 MP sensor. It will also be accompanied by a wide-angle lens camera and a macro camera. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12 Lite Zoom is said to have the code name ‘Zijin’ and model number L9B. It will likely come as a China-exclusive device. The reason behind it is the Chinese phone variant 2203129BC, which is visible in the IMEI database.
The leaked information reveals that the Xiaomii 12 Lite Zoom will feature a 6.55-inch Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display with curved edges and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone will come with a Snapdragon 778G or Snapdragon 780G and a 64 MP Samsung GW3 triple camera unit with wide-angle and telephoto lens.
The Xiaomi 12 Litee series will likely look similar to the Xiaomi Civi device. It can be said that based on the model, both models could debut in March 2022. This series may already be integrated with MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
