WhatsApp – Now users will be able to choose the time to determine when their messages can disappear through the Disappearing Message feature. For the past year or so, Facebook (now Meta) has been pushing all its subsidiaries to put security and user control first. This is done to feel safe and comfortable when using their platform.
However, of all the applications under Facebook, WhatsApp is one of the applications that issue the newest control and security features. In fact, recently, they announced a new feature update to more users. This time, it’s the Disappearing Message feature that gets more new controls. Because users get more options for how long they will be able to use the timer in this one feature.
For now, users can only select the option for 7 days before the message they sent disappears. In the latest update, users will be able to choose between 24 hours, 7 days, or 90 days. Reporting from Wccftech (December 8), in addition to adding time control from Disappearing Messages, WhatsApp has also added other capabilities to this feature. Users can also use this feature in groups, not just in private messages.
Apart from that, users will also be able to use this feature by default on all their contacts. Previously, users had to select any contact to use this feature manually. This update has been rolled out by WhatsApp starting today for some users gradually. This feature will work on both platform users, Android and iOS. – WhatsApp Disappearing Message feature
