Vivo X90 Specifications Revealed Ahead of Q1 2023 Launch

The specifications of the Vivo X90 smartphone series have surfaced on the internet ahead of the official unveiling. Vivo will likely launch three premium smartphones under the X90 series next week. Notably, the X90 lineup consists of Vivo X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+. Vivo has confirmed the X90 series wiill go official in China on November 22.

The company is reportedly planning to llaunch the X90 series smartphones in many other markets. Meanwhile, the X90 and Vivo X90 Pro+ were recently spotted online in the form of leaked renders. The news is that the X90 series smartphones will make their global debut in Q1 of 2023. Amidst the lack of official confirmation, the full specifications of the Vivo X90 series have been revealed.

The specifications of this X90 series and other details have been shared by tiipster Ishan Agarwal (via PriceBaba). Vivo X90 will replace the recently launched Vivo X80.

Complete Specifications for the Vivo X90 Series

The X90 5G will likely pack a Dimensity 9200 SoC. Additionally, it will ship with LPDDR5 RAM and offer UFS-4.0 storage. The phone may sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2800×1260 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device has a triple rear camera setup featuriing a Sony IMX866 main camera sensor for optics. Apart from that, it has a 12MP portrait sensor and a 12MP ultrawide camera. Up front, the phone has a 32MP selfie camera.

Vivo X90

Also, a 4,810mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging will power the X90. It will feature the same display as the vanilla X90 5G. The X90 Pro 5G will feature a 50MP f/1.6 portrait sensor and a 12MP f/2.0 ultrawide sensor. Apart from that, the X90 Pro 5G can use the 32MP front-mounted shooter to take selfies. Notably, it will draw power from a 4870mAh battery that supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The X90 Pro+ 5G will have four cameras on the back, including a 50MP Sony IMX989 main camera with a 1-inch sensor. It has a 50MP Sony IMX758 f/.6 portrait sensor and a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultrawide sensor.

The rear panel also houses the 64MP OmniVision OV64B40 telephoto camera. For selfies, it uses a 32MP front camera. This phone sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800×1260.

Also, this screen will feature a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset will get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Furthermore, the X90 Pro+ 5G will come with a 4,700mAh battery. This cell supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Lastly, this phone runs Android 13 with OriginOS 3 on top.
