Reporting from Gizmochina (December 1), the Geekbench list reported by MySmartPrice also reveals some of the device’s specifications. It is powered by an ARM MT6833V/ZA, which is basically a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The chipset is equipped with 6 CPU cores working at 2.00GHz and another 2 cores working at 2.20GHz.
Further, the listing reveals the smartphone has 8 GB RAM and runs on Android 12. The device will come with OriginOS UI in the Chinese market, while in the global market, it will arrive with FunTouchOS UI.
Based on the Geekbench benchmark results, the Vivo V2127, which is claimed to be the Vivo Y55 5G, scored 430 points in the single-core test and 1438 points in the multi-core test. Since this is the first report regarding smartphones, other information is still unknown and maybe more leaked in the future.
On the other hand, Vivo was previously reported to be launching the Vivo Y55s soon. This smartphone appears on the Chinese 3C page with the model number V2164A. The IMEI database confirms the smartphone as Vivo Y55s and will be launched in the Chinese market on December 4.
The Vivo Y55s is rumored to have dimensions of 163.87 x 75.33 x 9.17mm and weigh 199 grams. The 6.58-inch LCD screen is packed with a teardrop notch that offers Full HD+ resolution. The notch houses an 8 MP selfie camera, and the back panel houses a 50 MP main camera and an additional 2 MP lens.
