TP-Link Archer GX90 has a WiFi “Gaming Band” Feature – The TP-Link Archer GX90 has a unique feature called “Gaming Band” WiFi for gamers in their newest router.

TP-Link has just announced the arrival of its new router for gamers. This time, they embed a unique feature, which they call a very suitable feature for gamers.

Called the Archer GX90, this router offers not just WiFi 6 but has a dedicated band for gamers. They use the 4.8Gbps band, which is referred to as the “Gaming Band.”

This is done to keep the WiFi band pollution going around the user. As is known, the more WiFi users, the performance of Wifi will also decrease.

In addition, Engadget (September 16) also reported that this router comes with various features, such as increased OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) modulations intended to reduce lag.

There’s also a 1.5GHz quad-core processor that helps handle heavy traffic. There’s also a fair amount of 2.5Gbps Ethernet jacks (plus four 1Gbps jacks), two USB ports, and support for mesh networking via TP-Link’s OneMesh-enabled devices.

TP-Link price for the Archer GX90 is around USD 250, which is a pretty low price for a gaming router and even some home routers on the market today. – TP-Link Archer GX90
