This patent shows Apple is working on drone

Apple Drone – The Apple patent will cover equipment, systems, and methods for connecting to a remote wireless controller.

The United States Patent & Trademark Office has published two new patent applications filed by Apple. What’s interesting about the company’s latest patent filing is the possibility of developing drones soon. These two new filings with the US Patent Office add to three previous patents relating to possible devices drone Apple.

The new application is related to drones or unmanned vehicles (UAV). The first application seems to cover applications and methods of interaction between the UAV and the controller. The first patent will deal with connecting and disconnecting a UAV from a controller. This will cover equipment, systems, and methods for connecting to a remote wireless controller.

Reporting from Gizmochina (November 15), the second patent application relates to tracking and controlling UAVs. It has patent application number 20210349458. This second patent concerns how UAVs can be controlled and monitored via mobile network systems. A confidential check also shows that the same track/control patent has been filed by Apple in Singapore, numbered 10202002204W. It is not clear if there were any modifications between the Singapore filing and the US one.

There are no further clues or leaks showing evidence of Apple’s UAV development level. But it is correct to guess that the product if it is already in development. However, there is no guarantee that Apple’s drone project will eventually come out as a commercial product.
