Specifications for the iPhone SE 3

Specifications – Apple reportedly will not provide much improvement in the next SE series, namely the iPhone SE 3.

Apple is reported to be making the next generation of the SE line with a not-so-big improvement. Some Apple fans and critics lamented that Apple’s line-up of late 2021 phones didn’t have enough new features to wow people, and it looks like the company will continue this for the launch of the iPhone SE 3, as quoted from SlashGear (October 11).

The iPhone SE has always carried older Apple designs, such as the iPhone SE, first designed based on the 2013 iPhone 5s in 2016. On the other hand, the 2020 iPhone SE uses the somewhat controversial look of the iPhone 6 (2014). And Apple doesn’t appear to be changing course for its upcoming 2022 launch yet.

According to the Japanese blog Mac Otakara, the iPhone SE will still have the same 4.7-inch Retina HD display as the iPhone SE 2. In fact, the phone will still have the same Touch ID on the front, a button that is almost gone on some new iPhones. And not to be surprised, the iPhone SE will be the same as its predecessor not only in terms of appearance but also on the inside.

However, site sources claim that the most significant changes are using the Apple A15 Bionic chip and the addition of the first 5G support for the iPhone SE model. Given the affordable price tag on this series, the iPhone SE 3 will probably be Apple’s cheapest 5G phone next year.

The launch date for the iPhone SE 3 is expected to be in the spring of 2022, and production may start at the end of December. Of course, the ongoing chip supply crisis could push Apple’s launch further than it should.
