Sony Airpeak S1 – The battery has a flight time of 22 minutes when fully charged and not carrying a charge.
Finally, Sony officially launched the Airpeak S1, first introduced a few months ago at CES 2021. This device is their first professional drone and is predicted to be the smallest drone in the world that has support for Alpha full-frame mirrorless cameras.
This drone has a self-developed motor, propeller, sensors, and control system technology. Sony claims this support allows it to fly at very high speeds of up to 90 km / h. This drone is also equipped with propulsion technology that allows wind resistance up to 72 km/h.
Reporting from Gizmochina (11/6), Airpeak S1 features an advanced remote control, increased security through cloud management and flight information, as well as obstacle detection. This ultra-fast drone has a maximum angular speed of 180 degrees per second and a maximum tilt angle of 55 degrees. The battery has a flight time of 22 minutes when fully charged and not carrying a charge.
Not to forget the Electric Speed Controller (ESC) so that the drone has a unique and high-performance flight control system. This module integrates all sensor and propulsion device information. Thus, it promises the Airpeak S1 to have a stable flight and excellent maneuverability.
The Sony Airpeak S1 is reportedly made in Japan and is expected to be available for pre-order in September this year, priced at USD 9,000. The sales package includes two propellers, one remote control, two batteries, and a battery charger. There is also a third-party gimbal specifically made for this drone to be sold separately.
