In addition to the 108 MP camera and OIS, the Samsung Galaxy A73 is rumored to be equipped with a Snapdragon 7 series chipset, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal storage.
Samsung is reportedly working on a new phone series for next year. A recent report claims that the company plans to bring OIS support to the entire Galaxy A series lineup next year. A publication in South Korea has reported that the Galaxy A73 may be the first Samsung A-series phone to feature a 108MP camera.
Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy A73 in the first half of 2022, as reported by The Elec. Apart from featuring a 108 MP main camera, this device will also support optical-based stabilization (OIS).
Reporting from Gizmochina (September 17), the Galaxy A73 will replace the Galaxy A72 cellphone released this year. The A72 itself has 4 cameras, consisting of a 64 MP main camera with OIS, a lens, a 12 MP ultra-wide8 MP telephoto camera, and a 5 MP macro camera. For the front camera, this phone is equipped with a resolution of 32 MP.
Not much is known about the other specifications of the Galaxy A73. It will likely feature a Snapdragon 7 series chipset with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There will likely be other leaks about the Galaxy A73 in the future.
Like its predecessor, A72, the Galaxy A73 may offer a display panel based on AMOLED technology that provides a high refresh rate and a large battery with fast charging capabilities. The body is predicted to offer dust and water resistance with an IP67 rating. It remains to be seen whether this phone will run on the One UI 4.0 platform, based on the Android 12 operating system.
