In several leaks, it is rumored that NVIDIA will launch the RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti in a few months. NVIDIA looks set to introduce their latest GPU line-up soon. They are rumored to be preparing two GPU “higher performance” in their line of GeForce RTX 30 series. This time, they will introduce the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti & GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. Both GPUs will continue to use the Ampere architecture and will be launched in the coming months.
For the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, NVIDIA will embed 12GB of VRAM with the GA102-225-KD-A1 graphics core. This GPU will feature 10240 CUDA cores and have a total of around 80 BC units. The memory uses 12GB GDDR6X. Users will still get a memory speed of 19 Gbps instead of 19.5 Gbps like the RTX 3090. And for TGP, this GPU will come at 320 Watts.
On the other hand, the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti will use a PG141-SKU10 board different from the RTX 3070 SKU. Interestingly, this GPU will have 6144 CUDA cores or 48 SM, which has 4% more CUDA cores than the RTX 3070 and about 30% more. Lower than RTX 3080. For VRAM, they will use GDDR6X with a capacity of 8GB which is quite large. The memory speed will be at 19 Gbps which is the same as the RTX 3080 Ti and has a maximum TGP of 275 Watts.
However, what needs to be considered is how NVIDIA resolves the problem of lacking chipsets for their GPUs. Until now, there is still an inventory gap for GPUs around the world, including in Indonesia.
