MIUI 13 system – Xiaomi reveals major improvements to be brought to the next generation of MIUI, possibly MIUI 13.

Xiaomi reveals major software upgrades after MIUI 12.5, possibly referring to MIUI 13. Previously, company executives said they were already using MIUI 13, and now a recent report from the company sheds some light on the capabilities of the next generation of software.

Reporting from Gizmochina (December 27), Xiaomi claims the upcoming MIUI version is mostly focused on smoothness and smoothness. Compared to the previous version, MIUI will feature a 15% to 52% improvement in system smoothness.

Apps will open faster, and the frame rate will be reduced by almost 90%. MIUI 13 will also have Focus Computing 2.0, liquid storage, and atomic memory, making for faster read and write times.

In addition, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun via Weibo asked what features users expect in the upcoming MIUI 13. The majority of users answered they expected bug-free software. This poll moment shows Xiaomi has focused on the stability of MIUI 13.

It should be noted, MIUI 13 will run on top of operating the Android 12 system for Xiaomi 12 series smartphones. The company recently also revealed the list of the first phones to receive the update. The phones in the first batch include the Xiaomi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi 11, Redmi K40 Pro, K40 Pro+, and the Xiaomi 11 Youth Edition. 

Interestingly, the company is also testing MIUI 13 on the 2019 Redmi Note 8, which will probably get the official update in the next batch.
