Qualcomm is rumored to be launching the Snapdragon 895 in Q4 this year, and Lenovo is expected to be the first brand to bring the chip to market.
Recently, rumors circulated that chip flagship Qualcomm next was dubbed the Snapdragon 895. Like its predecessor, this chip is expected to be released at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Technology Summit, held in December.
It is known, the chip uses TSMC’s 4nm process. Thus, it will use more transistors in a smaller area. Then, which smartphone brand will be the first to bring this processor to market?
Long before Qualcomm released Snapdragon 888, Samsung became the brand smartphone the first flagship to bring Snapdragon. But, Xiaomi came and took this title. The Chinese manufacturer launched the first smartphone to use Snapdragon 888 through Mi 11.
Unfortunately, neither Samsung nor Xiaomi seems to be a pioneer for the launch of a smartphone with Snapdragon 895. The first information about this chip came from the leader of Lenovo current, Chen Jin. Reporting from Gizchina (June 10), Lenovo or Motorola will probably be equipped with Snapdragon 895, which will debut in Q4 this year.
Lenovo may return to the Snapdragon 855 era, where its device was the first to equip its phone with the flagship chip.
Of course, these are all just rumors and have not been confirmed from any side. However, with other brands yet to talk about this chip, it’s very likely that Lenovo will take a big role in the Snapdragon 895’s upcoming debut a few months away.
