B&O Wireless Speaker – The access control on top is specially made, so it is easy to operate when wearing gloves.

Bang & Olufsen (B&O) has just announced a based wireless speaker Bluetooth for outdoor use. Named Beosound Explore, speaker this portable has a body with an IP67 certification. The device is water-resistant to a depth of 1 meter (30 minutes) and dustproof. The body itself is reportedly scratch-resistant and has a very strong yet lightweight material.

This speaker is also equipped with an aluminum hook to hang it on the backpack when the user climbs the mountain, there is also a rope provided. It weighs only 613 grams, so it’s probably not that heavy.

Apart from its strong body, Beosound Explore also promises good quality sound. Reporting from What Hifi (21/5), B&O equips its newest speakers with dual 1.8-inch drivers. The body with the grill also allows it to deliver a 360 degree sound. Therefore, people can hear the music.

There is also a coating in Black Anthracite, Green Mist, and Gray Mist on the body. These colors resemble the forests, glaciers, and rivers of Scandinavia. Access control at the top is specially made, so it is easy to operate when wearing gloves.

The integrated battery is claimed to last up to 27 hours on a single charge. This means users do not need to recharge the battery during use while hiking. The price for the B&O Beosound Explore Bluetooth speaker is 199 euros.
