iPad – The tablet from Apple is still experiencing strong sales through 2021, continuing its momentum from last year.
A new report reveals that Apple is projected to ship around 60 million units of their tablet lineup this year. This information comes a year after the company’s iPad shipments began to increase following the pandemic.
The US company is expected to ship 60 million iPads by 2021, DigiTimes reports. The news comes as the company prepares to launch the iPad, the 9th generation, next month.
Reporting to Gizmochina (August 24), the tablet from Apple is still experiencing strong sales until 2021, continuing its momentum from last year. Back in 2020, iPad sales grew every quarter, up 79% YoY.
Now, the upcoming 9th generation Apple iPad is expected to arrive with minor changes sometime next month. Interestingly, some of60 million tablets Apple’s shipped this year include the 2021 iPad Mini, which looks set to come with one of the biggest redesigns the series has seen since its first launch.
It’s been reported that the new iPad Mini could feature a design similar to the iPad Pro, featuring thinner bezels and an aluminum-brushed patterned back panel. In addition, Touch ID is also expected to be integrated into the power button.
