Apple announced it would hold a special developer conference event on June 7-11. Apple announced that it would hold a dedicated online developer conference, the Worldwide Developers Conference. This conference is arguably the company’s biggest event of 2021 and is usually held every summer. The event was primarily focused on the developer as per its title, the Worldwide Developers Conference.
To note, this event was held for the first time last year amid a pandemic and lockdowns in various countries. The week-long event brings together developers from all over the world for meetings, presentations, and workshops.
The conference this time will be held on 7-11 June. However, it does not indicate what will be announced. However, the company said it would provide “unique insights into the future of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS.” Each platform receives updates every year with varying importance.
Also, the announcement also contains clues in the form of emojis looking at the laptop reflected on the glasses. This could hint at a Mac device that will be the focus of the event. This is in line with recent reports about Apple releasing a new computer with its chip. Or maybe the clue refers to a long-discussed augmented reality eyeglass kit.
Apple says this year’s online events will build on the record-breaking participation and learning from last year’s online conferences. The event will offer the same sessions as usual.
