Through the Radeon RX 6900 XT Liquid Cooled Edition, AMD offers the highest gaming performance in the lineup of GPUs based on Big Navi.
AMD has just announced the presence of their latest GPU. They claim their latest GPU is the fastest Big Navi-based GPU for gamers who want to play games at the highest resolution.
This time, they announced the presence of the Radeon RX 6900 XT Liquid Cooled Edition. This GPU will use the Navi 21 XTXH architecture, an upgrade from the reference model, and comes with more clock, memory, and power.
The Radeon RX 6900 XT clock speed with the Navi 21 XTXH GPU with a higher bin reaches 2250 MHz for the game clock, while boost speeds are up to 2435 MHz.
This GPU will come with 80 Compute Units or 5120 SPs. The card will also feature 16GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus interface, a total bandwidth of 576 GB/s thanks to 18 Gbps of memory.
In addition to standard memory, this GPU will also come with a 128 MB Infinity Cache. With an Infinity Infinity Cache of this size, it will increase the standard 512 GB/s bandwidth by 3.25x, providing an effective bandwidth of up to 1.664 TB/s.
This GPU will also come with an 80 Ray accelerator for playing games that support Ray Tracing. The TBP that AMD embeds in this GPU is around 330W, which is quite large.
And for cooling, they use water cooling using a 120mm radiator. AMD is very confident that a radiator of this size can tame the GPU to provide the best performance for gamers.
AMD has also appointed several vendors to launch the Radeon RX 6900 XT Liquid Cooled Edition. Some of them are ASUS ROG STRIX LC Radeon RX 6900 XT TOP. Sapphire Radeon RX 6900 XT TOXIC Extreme, PowerColor RX 6900 XT Red Devil Liquid Devil Ultimate, and Formula RX 6900 XT OC ASRock.
For the price, the vendors still haven’t given a definite price for the GPU. However, some say it will cost more than USD 1500 and be sold through computer builders in the APAC region.
