In a recent report, the application tracking control feature in iOS 14.5 has been used by 96% of users in just 12 days.
And sure enough, Flurry Analytics says that almost all iOS 14.5 users use this feature because of the popularity of this feature. Of the many features, the feature that is most widely used is the application tracking feature.
Engadget (9/5) reports that around 96% of the latest iOS users have activated this feature. The exciting thing is that this was achieved in just a short time. Which is 12 days after the application arrived.
The report also said that the usage rate for the feature had risen to 12 percent worldwide. This data is taken from 2.5 million daily active users in the US and 5.3 million worldwide.
This is giving some third-party app companies a headache. One of them is Facebook, which is quite against user privacy features on these Apple devices.
They are also reportedly aggressively rejecting the changes that Apple has brought to their devices. Maybe, Facebook feels aggrieved because they can no longer retrieve user location data for them to use on their own platform.
